1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using PearlSteps Travels Sri Lanka services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Booking and Reservations

When booking a tour through PearlSteps Travels:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for providing valid travel documents
• A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your booking
• Pricing is subject to change until booking confirmation

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 30 days before tour: Full refund minus 5% administrative fee
• 15-30 days before tour: 50% refund
• Less than 15 days before tour: No refund
• Cancellations must be requested in writing via email

4. Payment Terms

Payment requirements:

• A non-refundable deposit secures your booking
• Full payment is due 15 days before the tour date
• We accept bank transfers, credit cards, and online payments
• Additional charges may apply for special requests

5. Limitation of Liability

PearlSteps Travels is not responsible for losses, damages, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, weather conditions, political events, or health emergencies. We provide travel insurance recommendations and encourage customers to purchase comprehensive coverage.

6. Conduct and Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

• Follow all local laws and regulations
• Respect our staff and other tour participants
• Adhere to safety guidelines provided by tour guides
• Not engage in illegal activities
• Respect local culture, environment, and wildlife

7. Health and Safety

You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit for the activities included in your tour. We recommend consulting a healthcare provider before traveling. You must disclose any medical conditions or mobility issues that may affect your tour experience.

8. Travel Insurance

While travel insurance is not mandatory, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and evacuation.

9. Changes to Itinerary

PearlSteps Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or local conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes in advance.
